AMIST Super has added both their first independent and first female members to their board with the appointments of Kerry Johnson and Greg Camm.

Johnson, group manager strategic employee relations and organisational development at red meat provider Teys Australia, would come to the role having developed people programs across worksites in Australia and the US.

Camm held various management positions in banking, life insurance and superannuation prior to his retirement in 2012, and would bring experience in other directorships to AMIST Super.

He was elected chair of the fund’s board on 19 April, succeeding Kevin Cottrill after his sudden death at the end of last year.

AMIST Super chief executive, Murray Rutherford, was “delighted” to welcome Johnson and Camm to the board.

“Mr Camm has a very strong background in financial services and Ms Johnson’s meat industry-based HR expertise is exceptional. We look forward to their contribution to the fund and we are also very pleased to welcome our first ever female board member,” he said.
