AMP appoints to wealth management team

AMP has announced five new appointments to its Australian wealth management team, reporting to chief executive officer of the division, Alex Wade.

Former Credit Suisse head of portfolio management, Lakshman Anantakrishnan would join as chief investment officer at the end of June, and would focus on supporting AMP’s superannuation trustees.

Lara Bourguignon, who previously led AMP’s customer experience team, has been internally appointed as chief executive officer of SuperConcepts, effective early May.

Ant Dureau has also been internally promoted from his role as AMP’s acting director, strategic marketing and consumer experience, to chief client officer, commencing mid-April.

Jen Thomas would join as chief operating officer, and would lead the transformation of the team’s operations as of early May.

Wade was also appointed to the Financial Services Council board earlier today.
