ART appoints union rep to board

Australian Retirement Trust (ART) has appointed Aaron Santelises to its board of directors, replacing former member Mark Goodey.

Santelises is an industrial advocate and legal advisor for the Australian Workers Union (AWU) as well as an employment law and industrial relations solicitor.

He would replace Goodey who was a director at Sunsuper and left the board on 31 March, 2022, he was also chief financial officer at AWU.

ART chair, Don Luke, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Aaron to the board of ART as we strive to deliver better retirement outcomes for our members”.

Santelises said: “I look forward to working with the Board to ensure members’ best financial interests remain the key focus of the fund.”
