Challenger appoints national key account manager.

Former IOOF head of investment research Paul O'Connor has joined Challenger as national key account manager.

O'Connor was most recently at boutique fund manager OC Funds Management in investment and product consulting and previously held the role of director, funds services at Standard & Poor's.  

In his new role, he will work alongside Michael Kolikias in supporting Challenger's major national key accounts and will be taking the lead with rating agencies across both annuity and Fidante funds.  

"Paul is respected across the industry for his strong investment expertise and experience in asset consulting, strategy, multi-manager funds and platforms," Challenger general manager, platforms and national key accounts Rommel Hacopian said.
