Hall and Wilcox has set its sights on becoming one of the top superannuation law firms in the country after appointing Heather Gray and her team to its superannuation and financial services team.

The independent law firm said that Gray, along with leading superannuation partner Pamela McAlister and newly appointed partner Adrian Verdnikat, collectively represented some of Australia's largest industry, public offer and corporate super funds and numerous transactions in the sector.

Gray brings over 25 years experience in the superannuation industry to the firm following employment at DLA Piper, Holding Redlich and Allens.

Gray's colleagues Andrew Fairley, Jodi Preston and Lalitha Visuasam have also signed on with Hall and Wilcox as consultant, special counsel and senior associate respectively.

Hall and Wilcox managing partner Tony Macvean said the new structure would position the firm as a leader in the superannuation industry.
