Former Sunsuper chief investment officer, David Hartley has joined the board of the Australian Catholic Superannuation & Retirement Fund.
Hartley's appointment has been confirmed by Australian Catholic Super chairman, Richard Haddock who noted the new board member had spent 10 years as CIO at Sunsuper prior to which he had spent 12 years with Mercer during which time he had consulted to the fund.
"David is highly regarded in the industry, is keenly sought in providing his views and insights on the superannuation industry and we look forward to gaining the benefits of both his expertise and knowledge as a board member," he said.
Hartley will begin his board tenure on 24 February.
With the merger between Mine Super and TWUSuper in its late stages, the head of the soon-to-be combined fund is the latest to join ASFA’s board.
