The Industry Super Network (ISN) has expanded its policy team, appointing Matt Saunders to policy analyst - economics and markets, and Rebecca Riel to public policy analyst - retirement incomes.

Saunders has over 12 years experience in economic research and consultancy. He was most recently based with Deloitte Access Economics as an analyst and consultant and has been involved in projects detailing the economic impacts of clean energy and carbon reduction schemes.

Riel has been an economist with the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage, a policy analyst with Federal Treasury and Queensland Treasury, and a compliance case officer with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

ISN chief executive David Whiteley said the appointments would position ISN to deliver relevant high quality research and policy to the industry superannuation fund sector.
