Statewide Super has announced it appointed David Cook as its chief technology officer who started in the role on 6 October.
Cook was responsible for information services, project management, ICT, contract management, and facilities functions.
Commenting on the appointment, Statewide chief executive, Tony D’Alessandro said: “David has a great technical mind and we are excited to use his experience to improve our members’ online interactions with the fund.
“He is passionate about helping organisations better service, and protect the interests of their members by combining customer experience and technology.”
Prior to Statewide, Cook lead the digital and technology for a statutory office in Queensland, and was head of technology strategy and chief security officer for Sunsuper.
With the merger between Mine Super and TWUSuper in its late stages, the head of the soon-to-be combined fund is the latest to join ASFA’s board.
The fund has announced new additions to its trustee board.
Brighter Super has confirmed an executive search is underway to succeed its long-serving chief financial officer Garnett Hollier.
The research house has hired an experienced product specialist for its Australasian team.
