TAL has announced it has appointed three new independent directors to its TAL Superannuation Limited (TASL) board.
Board director Peter Lewinsky has been appointed as the independent chair of the trustee board, while professional director Anne Templeman-Jones has been appointed independent director and will chair TASL's remuneration committee.
Lewinsky, who is the principal of Peter Lewinsky Corporate Advisory, is an experienced chartered accountant and governance adviser.
Templeman-Jones has expertise in strategic planning and implementation, customer insight, and stakeholder engagement.
CEO of Hardwood Nominees (trustee of the CSR, Holcim and Wilmar Sugar corporate fund) Roslyn Ramwell has been appointed independent director and will chair the audit, compliance and risk management committee. She brings with her experience in superannuation governance.
TAL Group CEO Jim Minto said the company has spent around 12 years consolidating multiple trustee and companies and eight super funds to one trustee company and fund.
"TASL has had a dedicated ‘Office of the Trustee' model for the past seven years with Stephen Graham holding that position and leading the change. His role continues under the new structure," Minto said.
