UniSuper has appointed Brendan Donoghue to head of customer experience in a bid to lift member and employer experiences, with a focus on reshaping the way members engage with their super throughout their life.

Donoghue would bring 15 years’ experience in problem solving and customer-centred change, joining the fund from National Australia Bank (NAB), where he was head of digital design and user experience.

Chief customer officer, Lee Scales, said Donoghue’s passion and expertise would greatly influence the way UniSuper members and employer partners interact with UniSuper now and in the future.

“As engagement with superannuation increases, and UniSuper continues to grow, we are investing to be on the front foot of innovation and user experience,” said Scales.

“The capability that Brendan is building in his team will sit at the core of UniSuper being a successful, ‘customer-obsessed’ organisation.”
