Vanguard Super has launched its first TV broadcast advertisement, to air during the Australian Open.

The 30-second advert focused on the global investment expertise that Vanguard could bring to members’ superannuation.

It would air during tennis competition, the Australian Open, which would take place from 16-29 January in Melbourne and was shown on the Nine network.

Vanguard confirmed it was also working on its Adviser Portal which would be an access point for advisers to Vanguard Super and other investment products.

A pension offering would also be added to create a complete retirement solution.

Vanguard Super was launched last November with an accumulation fund called Vanguard Super SaveSmart, which included a MySuper default fund called Lifecycle, plus a range of index-based diversified and single sector investment options.
