Momentum Media has announced 25 winners across 10 individual and 15 group categories for its brand-new Australian AI Awards.

A range of brands have emerged as some of the worthy winners at tonight’s inaugural Australian AI Awards 2024.

With artificial intelligence rapidly permeating every industry, both small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and large companies have invested in AI or are planning to do so within the next five years.

To address the growing adoption of AI, Momentum Media and Super Review launched the inaugural Australian AI Awards to recognise professionals, organisations, and solutions transforming the Australian economy. The awards program showcases innovators across banking, law, accounting, and wealth management through to defence, aerospace, cyber, and more.

Winners were revealed tonight (Wednesday, 6 November 2024) at a black-tie gala at the Four Seasons, Sydney.

The ceremony allowed members of the financial services industry to celebrate the achievements of colleagues and network with leaders and peers across a diverse range of sectors within the Australian economy.

Suncorp Consumer Insurance walked away as the worthy recipient of the coveted AI Innovator – Wealth Management award.

Winning one of Momentum Media's Australian AI Awards signifies the unwavering determination and commitment of individuals, teams, and businesses playing a pivotal role in propelling the AI industry forward.

The judging criteria for the award categories are quantitative and qualitative, acknowledging growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, business excellence, and contribution to developing Australia’s AI toolkit.

To decide the winners, all finalists underwent a thorough audit process, checking demographic and other information against category eligibility criteria based on the information provided in the submission.

Professionals and organisations that took home trophies will gain national recognition for catapulting the industry forward, bolstering opportunities for career advancement.

“There’s no doubt that artificial intelligence and advanced machine learning will fundamentally transform the way we work,” Liam Garman, managing editor, real estate, professional services and security at Momentum Media said.

“I congratulate all of our winners tonight for their innovation and drive. You represent the best and brightest in Australian industry, and I raise a toast to your indefatigable efforts in advancing artificial intelligence.”
