legalsuper has continued its expansion of its member service team, with financial planning and superannuation professional Sophie Harris joining the fund as a client service manager.
The appointment brought the number of new member-facing hires by the fund to nine in the last three years, which it said was in direct response to member and employer feedback.
“Sophie’s appointment further advances our strategy of investing in member education and engagement to help our members achieve better retirement outcomes,” legalsuper chief executive, Andrew Proebstl, said.
Harris had worked at industry fund LUCRF for the last five years and had postgraduate qualifications in financial planning.
The Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) has announced changes to its structure, marking an “exciting phase of growth” for the organisation.
The $74 billion fund has welcomed an experienced CIO to lead its investment strategy.
With the merger between Mine Super and TWUSuper in its late stages, the head of the soon-to-be combined fund is the latest to join ASFA’s board.
The fund has announced new additions to its trustee board.
